New edition of J.K. Rowling’s The Ickabog to be published in September, illustrated by Ben Mantle!
A new edition of The Ickabog will be published on 2nd September 2025, featuring a striking new cover and 25 internal black and white illustrations from award-winning illustrator Ben Mantle, and a new foreword from J.K. Rowling. Originally published in November 2020, following J.K. Rowling’s free online serialisation of the story, the book featured children’s artwork by the winners of an illustration competition for children to enjoy and enter whilst stuck at home during the Covid 19 lockdown. The original edition will remain available, alongside the new edition.
